Often, we make the dysfunction in our lives functional and may not recognize the distress we are placing on ourselves and in our lives. It becomes hard to tell the difference between what’s negatively impacting our lives and what we’ve accepted as normal. Since May was Mental Health Awareness Month, we feel that it is a good way to end the month by reminding us of ways to recognize dysfunction and especially when to seek care for mental wellbeing.
