Sam Boshell, M.S.M.F.T., Associate M.F.T. (under the supervision of Dr. Wayne Perry) is a private practitioner in Montgomery, Alabama
After working extensively with children and their families in daycare settings and in Children’s Ministry, Sam felt that his training and experience in helping families heal from the strains of life was seriously lacking. This was the push that set him on the path to obtain a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Harding University. After receiving this training and doing the work of his own therapy, he hopes to come alongside others as they approach the challenges of their own journey.
It is Sam’s belief that healing can take place from past hurts and that growth can occur for people who desire to engage healthy processes of living. He views his role in therapy as joining his clients as they engage their own resources to be able to accomplish this and believes in giving his clients hope for a stronger and brighter future. As part of Afangideh Therapy, Sam believes in and practices therapy from the view point of mental wholeness for individual clients and for couples.
